Before You Start: What You Need
- Active Flipkart Seller Account with access to Flipkart Seller Hub
- Approved/Ready-to-Dispatch orders — labels are only available after order approval
- A computer or laptop — Seller Hub works best on desktop browsers (Chrome recommended)
- Optional: Thermal printer — for the final printing step (A4 printer also works)
Note: Flipkart labels can only be downloaded after the order status changes to "Approved" or "Ready to Dispatch". Pending orders don't have labels available yet.
How to Download a Single Flipkart Order Label
Step 1: Log in to Flipkart Seller Hub
Go to seller.flipkart.com and log in with your registered seller credentials. You'll land on the Seller Hub dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to Orders
From the left sidebar, click on Orders. You'll see tabs for different order statuses: New Orders, Approved, Ready to Dispatch, Shipped, etc.
Step 3: Select the Order
Click on the order you want to print a label for. On the order details page, you'll find the "Download Label" or "Print Label" button.
Step 4: Download the PDF
Click the download button. A PDF file will be saved to your computer's Downloads folder. This PDF contains the shipping label on the top half and the tax invoice on the bottom half of an A4-size page.
How to Bulk Download Flipkart Labels
For sellers processing multiple orders, downloading labels one by one is impractical. Here's how to bulk download:
Step 1: Go to Ready to Dispatch
Navigate to Orders → Ready to Dispatch tab in the Seller Hub. All approved orders awaiting dispatch will be listed here.
Step 2: Select All Orders
Check the "Select All" checkbox at the top of the order list. If you have more than one page of orders, you may need to select all on each page or use the "Select all orders" option if available.
Step 3: Click Download Labels
Click the "Download Labels" button at the top. Flipkart will generate a single PDF containing all selected order labels. Depending on the number of orders, this may take 10–60 seconds.
Step 4: Save the PDF
The combined PDF will automatically download. File sizes vary from 1–50 MB depending on the number of orders (roughly 50KB–100KB per order).
Tip: If Flipkart Seller Hub is slow during bulk downloads, try downloading in smaller batches (50–100 orders at a time). This prevents timeouts and ensures all labels are included.
Understanding the Downloaded PDF Format
After downloading, your Flipkart label PDF has the following structure:
| Section | Location | Content | Needed for Shipping? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shipping Label | Top half of page | Address, barcode, SKU, courier details, route code | ✅ Yes — must be printed |
| Tax Invoice | Bottom half of page | GST details, item price, seller GSTIN, invoice number | ❌ Not on the shipping label (keep digitally) |
| Page Size | Full page | A4 (210×297mm / 8.27×11.69 inches) | Too large for thermal printers |
| Shipping Label Size | Within top half | ~100×100mm (4×4 inches) | This is what you need to extract/crop |
Important: The raw PDF from Flipkart is NOT ready for thermal printing. You must crop it first to extract the 4×4 inch shipping label area. Printing the full A4 page on a thermal printer will either shrink the label (making the barcode unscannable) or waste paper.
How to Crop Downloaded Flipkart Labels
After downloading, the next step is cropping the labels to thermal-printer-ready size. Here's the fastest method:
- Go to EasyOrderLabel Flipkart Crop Tool
- Upload the downloaded Flipkart PDF (drag & drop or click to browse)
- The tool automatically crops each label to 4×4 inches, removing tax invoices and margins
- Labels are also sorted by SKU for efficient packing
- An Excel picking list is generated with SKU quantities
- Download the cropped PDF and Excel report
Complete Download → Crop → Print Workflow
Here's the optimized daily workflow used by top Flipkart sellers:
| Step | Action | Time | Tool |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Accept new orders on Seller Hub | 2–5 min | Flipkart Seller Hub |
| 2 | Bulk download labels (all approved orders) | 30–60 sec | Flipkart Seller Hub |
| 3 | Upload PDF to EasyOrderLabel for crop + sort | 10–30 sec | EasyOrderLabel |
| 4 | Download cropped PDF + Excel picking list | 5 sec | EasyOrderLabel |
| 5 | Print picking list — hand to warehouse team | 1 min | Any printer |
| 6 | Print sorted labels on thermal printer | 3–5 min (100 labels) | Thermal printer |
| 7 | Pack orders using sorted labels | Varies | Warehouse team |
Total processing time for 100 orders: Under 10 minutes from download to label printing. The actual packing then follows the sorted label sequence for maximum efficiency.
Pro Tips for Flipkart Label Download & Printing
1. Download Labels at Fixed Times
Set fixed label download times (e.g., 10 AM and 3 PM). This creates batch processing windows where your team can work on packing without interruption. Avoid downloading and printing labels one at a time throughout the day.
2. Keep Digital Tax Invoices
Don't print the tax invoice — it's not needed on the shipping label. Flipkart stores all invoices digitally in your Seller Hub. If a customer requests an invoice, download it separately from the order details page.
3. Verify Order Count
After downloading, check the page count of your PDF against the number of orders you selected. Flipkart occasionally misses orders in bulk downloads during high-traffic periods (sale events). If the count doesn't match, re-download.
4. Use Chrome for Downloads
Google Chrome provides the most reliable download experience for Flipkart Seller Hub. Safari and Firefox occasionally encounter formatting issues with the downloaded PDF.
5. Organize Downloaded Files
Create a daily folder structure (e.g., "Labels/2026-09-13/") and save each download with a descriptive name like "flipkart-labels-batch1-100orders.pdf". This helps if you need to reprint a specific batch later.
